Rachel holds qualification in both Ayurveda and Yoga (Therapy) from Wellpark College of Natural Therapies, a leading education establishment in New Zealand dedicated to the science of natural healing. She also has an advanced Sanskrit and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) studies through teachers she sought privately.

Rachel currently teaches and conducts workshops and training courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Yoga philosophy. Her personal study of yoga started in 2001. She has made trips to Mysore, India to study Sanskrit and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with the late great teacher Sri K Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy. Rachel returns to Vrindaban, India yearly to take internship with Dr Liladhar Gupta, a fourth generation Ayurvedic physician, at the Dhanvantari Dham Herbal Research Centre.

Before fully dedicated to the path of Ayurveda and Yoga, Rachel was a senior level executive recruiter, working with some of the largest executive search firms in the world.
